Alex Orkin

FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS MANAGER 

Alex rejoined Orkin & Associates in January 2024 and currently works as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, focusing on financial strategy, real estate operations, leasing, and business development. He represents the fourth generation in the family business, working alongside his father, Adam, and brother, Brian.

Raised in Milton, Georgia, Alex earned his BSBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Samford University in 2020. After initially serving as a business analyst with Orkin & Associates for a year, he spent two years in northwest Florida as an agent with the Jabbour Luxury Group at Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty. There, he worked with clients buying and selling property along Scenic Highway 30A, specifically in the communities of Seagrove, WaterColor, Alys Beach, and Seaside, Florida.

Outside of work, Alex stays active through tennis, hiking, and distance running, often using a run to explore local trails or navigate a new city. His time outdoors fuels a personal passion for urban design and walkable infrastructure, particularly thoughtful city planning, and the creation of well-connected community trail systems. He currently resides in Alpharetta with his wife Sydney, and their dog, Wednesday.
